1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a membership, booking a court, or otherwise accessing The Pickle House facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our facilities or services.

2. Membership and Subscription

  • Memberships are offered at $50 per month and require a 12-month subscription commitment.

  • Membership fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable, except as required by law.

  • Members may place their membership on hold for $19.99/month, for up to three (3) months during the subscription term. The hold period extends the overall 12-month commitment.

  • Early cancellation of a membership will require full payment of the remaining balance owed under the 12-month term.

  • Membership grants access to:

    • One full private pickleball court

    • One training/practice court

    • Fully equipped fitness area

  • All members are required to maintain an active subscription in good standing to access facilities.

3. Booking Policy

  • All members must book their court or fitness access at least 10 days in advance using our designated booking system.

  • Bookings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.

  • Members are permitted to book only for their own use unless otherwise authorized.

  • The Pickle House reserves the right to limit or deny bookings to prevent misuse or overuse.

4. Facility Rules

  • Members must check in upon arrival and comply with staff instructions.

  • Proper athletic attire and footwear must be worn at all times.

  • Food and beverages (except water or sports drinks) are not permitted on the courts or in the fitness area.

  • Smoking, vaping, alcohol, or illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

  • Members are responsible for bringing their own equipment unless rentals are specifically provided.

5. Guest Policy

  • Guests may be permitted with prior approval and payment of applicable guest fees.

  • Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests and ensuring compliance with these Terms.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once billed.

  • Members wishing to cancel prior to completing the 12-month subscription must pay the remaining balance of the contract term in full.

  • Members may pause their membership for $19.99/month for up to three (3) months during the 12-month term. This hold option extends the length of the contract accordingly.

  • Facility booking cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. No-shows or late cancellations may result in fees or suspension of booking privileges.

7. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk

  • Participation in pickleball, fitness training, and other activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage.

  • By using The Pickle House facilities, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all such risks.

  • The Pickle House, its owners, staff, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries, accidents, damages, theft, or losses that may occur on the premises, except as required by law.

  • Members are strongly encouraged to consult with a physician before beginning any physical activity.

8. Conduct and Termination

  • Members are expected to behave respectfully and courteously toward staff and other members.

  • Harassment, unsafe behaviour, or violation of facility rules may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.

  • The Pickle House reserves the right to suspend or revoke memberships at its discretion for violation of these Terms.

9. Privacy Policy

  • The Pickle House collects and stores personal information (e.g., name, contact information, payment details) for the purpose of managing memberships, bookings, and communication.

  • Information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as required by law or for essential business operations.

10. Changes to Terms

  • The Pickle House reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.

  • Members will be notified of material changes via email or posting on our website. Continued use of our facilities after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
